| Subject: Kooketsu's Info - Capture Cards and Cameras: A Quick Guide Tue Nov 16, 2010 6:36 pm | |
| Since obviously NSUNS2 doesn't have a non-third party method of recording matches, you'll need to get a camera or a capture card, but which way is more efficient? CAMERA: Camera's are easily accessible since almost everyone has one if they have a video album of childhood birthdays. Camera's are almost always found in a person's home, so finding one shouldn't be too hard. But anyway, the pros and cons: Pros - Anyone can almost always get their hands on one.
- Ease of Use
Cons- Quality can be bad
- Interference may occur
CAPTURE CARD: Capture Cards come in various styles and forms. Some can record in Standard Quality while others record 1080HD in perfect quality with little to no interference. Capture Cards are widely supported by most computers and online hosting sites. Anyway, pros and cons Pros - Can record in stellar quality
- don't have to worry with 'random 'X' walking in the way of the tv'
Cons- Can be expensive, since not only you buy the Capture Card, you may need to buy extra things since most capture cards only hook up to the computer.
- Some come with software, which may not work for your computer
What does Kooketsu Recommend?: We recommend Capture Cards, but BE CAREFUL. Research the Capture Card extensively, because it may be your worst purchase. |
